Who We Are

Ballast Games is Brendan Tipney and Anand Friesen, a two-person indie studio based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

We care about tight, satisfying game feel. Every mechanic should feel good to interact with, every run should feel meaningfully different, and every system should reward thinking. Cloudbreaker is the game we wanted to play.

We're building it the way we'd want to experience it: deep systems, clean presentation, and a world worth exploring.
